Batting first, LSG posted a formidable total of 199/4, thanks to Quinton de Kock's blazing 44 off 28 and KL Rahul's solid 39. RCB put up a valiant fight with Virat Kohli leading the charge with a quick-fire 41 off 29, but the Super Giants' bowlers held their nerve to defend the total.
LSG's innings was built around de Kock's whirlwind knock. The South African opener tore into the RCB attack, smashing six fours and two sixes before perishing to Harshal Patel. Rahul provided stability at the other end, anchoring the innings with a calculated 39 while Deepak Hooda and Marcus Stoinis also chipped in with valuable contributions.
